Autism Spectrum Disorder & ADHD

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are neurodevelopmental conditions that reflect an individual’s unique neurotype. According to one report*, an estimated 15 million U.S. adults had a diagnosis of ADHD as of 2023. Other reports* estimate that approximately 2.21% of U.S. adults—over 300 million people—are autistic. Despite how common these conditions are, many adults, especially women, remain undiagnosed and often struggle to understand how their symptoms impact daily life.

At Hope & Serenity Health Services, we offer ASD and ADHD testing with the goal of providing liberating clarity to those seeking answers.

We understand that ASD and ADHD is a spectrum, and may present differently for every individual. Therefore, we focus on creating a safe and informed space where adults can receive support, answers, and move toward self-acceptance that will improve quality of life.

What does ASD and ADHD testing look like?

Our ASD and ADHD evaluations are tailored for each client.  You will begin by meeting with Dee either in person or by telehealth. Background information about your life and experiences are then gathered to see what symptoms are present and their effects.

The evaluation process is composed of a series of different self-report questionnaires. The main focus is to identify your strengths, challenges, and the areas of your life that need improvement in relation to your ASD and or ADHD diagnosis. There are no correct or incorrect answers.

After receiving the evaluation results, you can either choose to continue working with Dee and or one of our clinicians to help you process these results and adapt to the changes it may bring. Alternatively, you may elect to just receive your test results and proceed in a way that is comfortable for you in your current stage of life.
